The hotel is wonderful, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were cozy, which was like an oasis when we would return dead tired from exploring the city. Bathroom was all right, the AC, the fridge, the safe and all the other facilities worked properly. All of the interior (and the exterior) is modern and nicely decorated. There is also a nice little terrace on the rooftop where we sat in the evening, looked at the sea and listened to the sounds of the city. Hotel's location is really convenient. All the best places are close by - Ayasofya and the Blue mosque are a five, and Topkapi palace a ten-minute walk away from the hotel. There are also some great restaurants in the vicinity. The neighborhood seems relatively safe and is just a short walk off a main street. Breakfasts were nice, there was plenty to choose from. There was some nice tea and coffee and a selection of fruits every morning. The dining room is cozy and kind of homey. The receptionists were both extremely sweet and helpful. Thank you both, guys, for everything - for asking about our preferences about the room, for organizing our ride to the airport, for recommending a place to eat, for lending us a transport card when we couldn't get our own, for recommending us the best places and routes around the city and for answering to all of our questions :) Cleaning ladies did a nice job, too. All in all, an amazing place to stay :) A bonus tip in the end: let the hotel organize your ride from the airport. We came to the city with the airport shuttle, then took a cab, and the driver really ripped us off. When we went home, we asked the receptionist to get us a taxi for a fixed price instead - it turned out to be much cheaper and we didn't have to transfer anywhere, we rode straight to the airport.

Great hotel in a great location. All the attractions are nearby within a walking distance. That saves a lot from your transportation cost and also saves time. The Hotel itself is very clean and service is really good. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They always greet customers with a smiling face; especially Mr. Yilmaz and Mr. Salih. They are super helpful. Breakfast was also good; we stayed their 5 nights, and during our stay they served different kinds of breakfast menus like Sausage, Salamis, pepperoni, french fries, cheese rolls, different kinds of turkish cheese, fruits, Turkish delights as desserts, different forms of eggs, juice and turkish tea and coffee. Considering the price and from a non star hotel, I think this is pretty good. If you ask for some extra yogurt the ladies in the kitchen happily serve you that. They clean the room everyday with fresh towel, which is also great. We visited there with my family of 11 members and took 4 rooms with extra bed, and we felt like home. They have an elevator to access the upper floors. They arranged our airport pick and drop and that one was also perfect, we paid the extra amount for that service when we checked in. So I’m totally happy with their service. I highly recommend this budget friendly hotel for future Travellers.

My mother and I were returning from a trip to Japan and decided to stay overnight in Istanbul. We chose hotel Artika, because it is in the historical heart of the city and it turned out to be just the right place. Our flight arrived very early in the morning and we were at the hotel around 9:00 a.m. The reception was impeccable - we were invited to have breakfast (very delicious), which was an extra we had not paid for. Not to mention that we were lucky there was an available room and they had it ready for us in less than 30 min. The room was spacious, very clean and bright. Warmest greetings to the excellent team of Hotel Artika who knows how to welcome guests. All the sights in Istanbul are just a few minutes walk away. Well deserved 10/10. Great value for money, I definitely recommend and will visit it again when I travel to Istanbul.

I really recommend everyone who wants to visit Istanbul to stay at this family hotel! The staff is really kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and our room was really spacious. Ladies emptied our bins and changed our towels every day. Room also has air conditioning. Beds are super comfortable! Also, I really liked pillow because it was really soft (not hard as rock as you normally get in some hotels). We also had breakfast which was great, you can choose sweets like yogurt, cereal, fruits, jams, honey.. and savory like eggs, pasta salads, salami, cheeses, pastry… Hotel is located in a quiet street just 5min (walking) from the metro station. Overall we really liked it here and Yilmaz and Yasin made our stay really great with their hospitality and kindness.

Room, bathroom and common areas, including A/C were modern, very clean and in good state. Very comfy queen-size bed w/clean sheets. Good wifi and room privacy, sound-proof windows with blackout and small balcony access. Very close to the main sites. Exceptional and very helpful 24-7 attention from all staff. Breakfast buffet options were limited due to hotel size, but was tasty and enough for us. The view of the Bosphorus entrance, access to hear the call for prayer, seagulls flying around and fresh sea breeze from the rooftop was moving and priceless. I would stay there again next time.
